Johanna Desmond, wife of Timothy Desmond, a well known Seventeenth ward builder, was buried today
from St. Anthony's church in Manhattan avenue, where a requiem mass was celebrated by the Rev.
P. F. O'Hare and assistants. Mrs. Desmond died of the grip on Thursday at her home, 107 Huron street.
She was 55 years old and had been for thirty-five years a resident of Greenpoint.
