According to two family trees on Ancestry.com, both lacking sources, the parents of Margaret Gorman are James Gorman (b. 1786 in Kilrush, Clare, Ireland) and Bridgid O'Brien (b. Ireland). The "Gorman Family Tree" cited has the following descendants for the couple:
