AT time of death, Charles O'bryan and family lived on River Ave., in Haysville, pa,,,,right next to Sewickley Pa, Allegheny Co. At one time he was employed at Riter Conley as a boiler maker., .He went to look for work in Chicago, and on the way home was killed falling off the train in Solon, Ohio---the Erie RR Tracks. His mother was living in WAll Pa. at the time, and she wrote a letter to the insurance company on behalf of Anne O'bryan, his widow. His youngest child was only 3 days old at the time of his death, she was Elizabeth ( Libby) . He had been a fiddler/violinist,,,and also a car mechanic and Chauffer etc.
My mother Catherine O'Bryan was 4 yrs. old at the time of his death.
He is buried at St. James Catholic Cem. in Sewickley Pa. Anne and her sisters worked as Domestics for some of the familys in Sewickley. The Grays, the Bakewells, and others.
