James O'Connell was born in Ireland.
James was born about 1786, son of Morgan O'Connell and Catherine O'Mullane. [1]
He married Jane, eldest daughter of the late Charles O'Donoghue of the Glens in Killarney on 31st March 1818.[2][3][4] She was not quite 17.
Their children included:
- Mary, born 1819
- Maurice James, born 1821 died 1896
- Daniel James, born 1823
- Charles, born 1828
- James born 1832.
1st Baronet of Lakeview and of Ballybeggan
James Connell died age 92 years.[5][6]
