In April 1946 he was appointed Inspector in charge of the Geraldton police district.
In Jan 1948 he took 13 months accumulated leave prior to his retirement.
In 1949 he was living at 18 Windsor St East Perth and his occupation was Police Inspector.
In 1954 he was living at 19 Almondbury Rd Mt Lawley. Also living there were his wife Annie, son Raymond James and daughter in law Bverely Vilma.
In 1958 he was still there with his wife.
He died age 83. He is buried in Karrakatta Cemetery with his wife.
