He passed away on 29 October 1932 in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada where he had been living for only three years. His occupation was given as "Retired Carpenter". [1]

In the 1881 Census of Canada, Patrick O'Connor, age 14, was listed in Enniskillen township of Lambton County, Ontario with his widowed mother Annie and his brothers. Edward was listed as head of household. [3]
