Bryan Daniel O'Connor (born September 6, 1946) is a retired United States Marine Corps Colonel and former NASA astronaut.

Mother: Helen Marie Moreillon[2]

1946 Born in Orange, California, USA.
1968 Bachelor of Science in Engineering, United States Naval Academy, joined the US Marine Corps. During his career as a Marine, he was awarded the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Meritorious Service Medal.

1970 Master of Science degree in Aeronautical Systems from the University of West Florida.
1980 Selected by NASA in Astronauts Group 9. [3]
1985 Flew on Atlantis STS-61-B as Pilot with Brewster Shaw, Jerry L. Ross, Mary L. Cleave, Sherwood Spring, Charles D. Walker and Rodolfo Neri Vela.
