Biography

My maternal great grand mother. Mary was born in 1866. She passed away in 1918. Lived at 317 Webster Ave Brooklyn NY Children: 317 Webster Ave., Parkville Husband John J, retired chief of Fire department batallion, two sons - Francis L and John M and four daughters - Alice V Early, Helen M, Honora C Frigenti, Agnes M and two nieces Rita Brandna and Irene McCarren. Sister - Margaret Touhey and three grandchildren. Extensive Bibliography Mrs Mary A O’Donnell Donohue, 51 year old, wife of John J. Donohue a retired battalion chief of the Brooklyn Fire department, died yesterday of intestinal trouble at her residence, 317 Webster Ave., Parkville. Funeral will be held tomorrow morning with a requiem mass in the R C Church of St Rose of Lima in Lawrence Ave., Parkville, and the internment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Donahue was born in New York City and had been a resident of Brooklyn for more than 40 years.


Mrs Donohue survived by two sons Lieutenant John Donohue of the quartermasters department U.S. Army now in France and Frank Donohue of the headquarters office of the New York five apartment in Manhattan and four daughters and the Misses.
