David Charles "Michael" O'Grady was born in Queensland, Australia in 1918. He was the son of David Charles O'Grady and Doris Isabel Smith.[1]
He travelled with his father to the Tennant Creek Goldfield. He father left their camp to do some final prospecting before returning home to Townsville, returned later that day, to find his son lying dead from a gunshot wound to the head.
He passed away in 1936 and was laid to rest in the Tennant Creek Cemetery.[2]
Research Notes
There is probably an error with the BMD register. David Owen O'Grady appears to be the father's name.
