Dorothy died on Feb 8, 1988 in Lynn, Essex, aged about 80.

Dorothy (O'Keefe) Carroll, 79, of Lynn, a Marblehead resident 75 years before moving to Lynn four years ago, died Monday, Feb. 8, in Phillips Manor Nursing Home. Born in Salem, daughter of the late William and Mary (Gorman) O'Keefe. Mrs. Carroll attended Marblehead schools. She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Marblehead, a former member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary Chaplain Lyman Rollins Post of Marblehead, and was a member of the Pioneer Club of Lynn. Wife of the late John Carroll, she is survived by two daughters, Nancy Carroll Boci of Lynn and Mrs. Anton (Alice O.) Cohen of Marblehead; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. A funeral was held Wednesday, Feb. 10, in the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home and followed by a funeral Mass in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church.
