From 1890 to 1898, her husband was the Governor of Geelong Gaol. He then became Governor of Pentridge Prison in Melbourne and retired from this position on 30 April 1912. [3]
After living in the stockades at both Geelong and Pentridge, Michael and Honora moved to 11 Fulton St, St Kilda, Melbourne.[4]
Her husband died on 5 August 1930.
Honora Cody died, aged 84, in Kew, Victoria on 22 June 1939.[5]
Probate was granted on 31 August 1939 in Melbourne.[6]
