Biography

Cornelius was born about 1804. Cornelius O'Leary died March 11, 1890. His grave stone can be witnessed in the Catholic cemetery, in Milian, Ohio

1880 United States Federal Census[1]

Cornelius married Jane Griffen, January 24, 1832, in Ireland. About 1832, they moved to Quebec, Canada, remaining there a few years. Then moved to Kingston, Canada, then moved to Sandusky, Ohio. They stayed part of the time with Warren Smith, then moved to Milan, Ohio. Cornelius purchased a farm of 31 acres, three miles west of Milan, where they lived until about the year of 1876 or 77. Then the moved to a farm of 56 acres 1 mile south of the other farm. They lived there until they died. Jane on the farm and Cornelius in Michigan, where he was on a visit. They are both buried in the cemetery at Milan, Ohio.[2]
