(Irish: Feidhlimidh Caoch Ó Néill)
Phelim Caoch was the son of Conn Baccagh O'Neill, King of Tyrone and Lady Alice Fitzgerald. He was Prince of Tyrone from about 1517 to about 1542. [1]
Phelim was imprisoned by King Henry VIII, in an effort to force his father into submission. He was ultimately killed about 1542 by MacDonnell Gallowglagh, due to a long-standing feud with Phelim's father, Conn Baccagh. [1][2]
