Biography
Ellen was born in Strokestown, Roscommon, Ireland about 1861. She was the daughter of Patrick O'Neill and Ellen Brudell.
She emigrated to Sydney, Australia, age 20, aboard the vessel "S.S. Clyde" which arrived in Sydney on June 23, 1881. Aboard this vessel were her aunt & uncle Thomas Brudell and Margaret (Rock) Brudell and their children Luke, Michael & Bridget.
She met and married John Croghan in Sydney, NSW, Australia in 1887.
Residence : 37a Holdsworth St, Woollahra, NSW, Australia.
Ellen passed away in Woollahra, NSW, Australia on Sept 18, 1922, age about 64 and is buried in Waverly Catholic Cemetery, NSW, Australia.
