Biography
Ellen O'Shea, the first child of Timothy O'Shea and Catherine O'Neil, was born in Knocknaboha, County Limerick, Ireland on August 9, 1897. Her family soon thereafter relocated to Park, Shanagolden, County Limerick, about 7 miles (12 km) to the north and was living there at the time of the 1901 Census of Ireland. Ellen died at the Workhouse in Rathkeale, County Limerick on October 22, 1910 from complications arising from Tuberculosis of the ankle joint.
