Biography
Ballinrobe research center has the elder Thomas Toole, according to family tradition was born in the late 1700s in Ballygaddy, Tuam, County Galway, the son of a herdsman who had come from county Wicklow (shepherd). He married Mary Hughes (alive in 1864) of Kilmaine.
And they had the 4 children: Margaret, James, Thomas, and Ellen.
