DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Kathy by comparing test results with other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Kathy:

Hi! First welcome to WikiTree, I saw that you just joined in Dec. this year! Glad to have you aboard.
The reason I am writing is that I noticed you chose our Integrators Challenge for this month. Was you actually wanting to participate or was it in error?? Because what we do is try to find G2G questions that are a couple years old etc that ask for research of a particular family or ancestor, and then we create new profiles assisting them along the way.
You are now a full member and can add your family to the big tree!
Start with our New Member How-To pages. These will save you a lot of time and answer many of your questions as you begin to add your family tree.
You will help your research if you add other names in your family line to your followed Tags. You can then click on those names to track activity or make connections with other researchers.
We are delighted that you have decided to join us and hope you will have many pleasurable ancestor hunts!
Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm always happy to help!
Shirley
P.S. If links do not work in an email from WikiTree, try them from the comment section on your profile page.
You are welcome to use our database and G2G Forum for research. If you plan to add or edit profiles, please visit your Tags and Comments page. On that page, scroll down until you find the Save Tag(s) and Volunteer link in the dark green box. Click that and we can get you confirmed.
Don't worry, you would only be volunteering to abide by our community guidelines and add your family.
