From Vicki Stump: This lady was my mother's (Ophia Alberta Peters Boggs) mother. Some of the records I have found, list her name at Martha rather than Mary and her maiden name as Oaks. She was born in Gate City, Scott County Virginia 11/27/1881. She and Thomas Marvin or Melvin Peters had Sidney, Barney, Cossie, Ophia and Eva Grace. I don't know of any child named Norton. They did live in Norton, Virginia. According to what I found, she and Thomas were married in Scott county Virginia 12/20/1898. Thanks
