George Married Almira P. Hobbs on November 27, 1866 in Gloucester, MA.[4] He would sire 4 children before his wife's Death in 1873 of Tuberculosis. It is unsure as to why, but George passed on the 4 children to his wife's family before marrying again in the following year.
George was married for a second time to Edith M. Loraine on December 31, 1874 in Gloucester, MA.[5]
