Biography
Miles was born in 1671. He passed away in 1743.
Miles Oakley was a vestryman of St. Peter's Church in Westchester, NY, in 1709; an alderman in 1719; and president of the Board of Trustees in 1720. He was elected mayor of the Borough Town of Westchester in 1727 and 1733. Miles Oakley was a miller in 1735 at Harlem, New York.
Wives
Mercy Gardner was the first of Miles’ four wives. Miles Oakley married Elizabeth Barlow. He married Hannah Horton, b 1675, third in 1724.
