Charlotte (Oaks) Streets was born in Lincolnshire, England.

Charlotte Oaks was born in Owmby, Lincolnshire, England, in 1860. ^[1] She was baptized on March 10, 1860, in Owmby by Spital.^[2] Mother's name listed as Mary Oaks. She appears in the 1871 census ^[3] as an eleven year old residing in the household of grandparents Thomas and Jane Oaks. In 1881, ^[4] she was listed as a servant in the household of Francis and Emily Bartholomew, Waddington, Lincolnshire. She was twenty one, single, and a "House Maid".

Charlotte married Valentine Streets in 1888.^[5] The ceremony was performed on October 24th in Scawby, Lincolnshire.^[6] (Note...father's name listed as Thomas Oaks). It appears Charlotte and Valentine did not have children. They were enumerated in the 1891 census ^[7] residing on Mary Street, Ardwick, Lancashire. In the 1901, ^[8] they were back in Lincolnshire residing Near the Grove, in Kirton in Lindsey. Valentine passed away in 1909. Charlotte appears in the 1911 census ^[9] as a fifty year old widow residing in Kirton in Lindsey.

Charlotte never remarried. She passed away in January, 1940 ^[10] and was buried on January 24th in Kirton in Lindsey.^[11]
