Rebecca L. Oaks Mason was born in Missouri in 1979 to Jesse Oaks Sr. and Jewel Bucceri (nee Dunkin). She has two daughters and a stepson. She was nicknamed "Becky" as a child. Please do not call her that. She hates it.
Rebecca knows some things about her family on each of her parents' sides, but she knows about of her father's lineage than her mother's.
Rebecca is the daughter of Jesse, the son of Thomas and Anemone Oaks (nee Poage). Thomas was the son of Issac Newton Oaks and Pearl Hayner (nee Pew). Isaac was the son of Henry Oaks. Anemone was the daughter of Wesley and Coumellia Poage (nee Utterback).
Rebecca is also the daughter of Jewel, the daughter of Earl LaVern Dunkin and Cora Bell Smith. Cora Smith was the daughter of Walter and Ruby Smith (nee Travis), both of whom died in 1936. Walter Smith was the son of James and Mattie Smith (nee James).

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working with members of the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus. Review the project pages for special guidelines and to learn how to collaborate with the project members.
Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.
Remember to cite reliable sources in pre-1700 profiles you manage, or edit. (See:https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles#Cite_reliable_sources).

Thank you for adding your DNA Test to your profile on WikiTree. Getting Started with DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree. You may also be interested in the help page for Gedmatch.com and WikiTree.
DNA at WikiTree provides a visual way for you to find others who have tested and have the potential of having common ancestors. It normally takes 24 hours after adding a test, or adding a new ancestor, for WikiTree to display your name and test results on your ancestors and their descendants’ profiles. This provides you with potential cousins names and DNA information to compare results with.
Let me know if you have any questions and have fun!

I sent you a note but wasn't sure if you are still active in Wikitree. Thanks.
Our vision is to build a collaborative tree with one profile per person. The farther back you go, it's likely you will find duplicate profiles to link into, so it's a good idea to do a search before you create a new profile.
Do you have Royal Ancestors? If so, they are already here! Please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their already existing profiles.
WikiTree strives to be a fun, collaborative, productive site. It's also different than what many people are used to. Please take advantage of the Help Menu in the upper right hand corner, our G2G Forum and of course, our Mentors :)
Do you have any questions I can help with?

Our Honor Code, G2G message forum, help pages, search features, and many other useful links can be accessed from the menus on the upper right corner of most pages.
VERY IMPORTANT: The more documents, sources, dates, and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger your branches and our mutual global tree will be. If you don't know the correct date, please estimate using before or after.
Thank you for helping in our mission to build a global tree with only one profile per person.
Hope you enjoy WikiTree!
