James does not mention a wife in his Will. His wife Lucy dies in 1844, and I cannot find any evidence that he remarries. He lives another 30 years. He also does not mention his son Samuel, who dies in Feb 1874, about 4 1/2 months before his father dies. Another son John T dies before his father does too. John was only 26, I have not found cause of death at this time. He names 2 daughters, Jane and Sallie Ann; he names a son Isaac and a son Robert M. also a granddaughter Dora E Oates. I will have to find her to know which of his sons she belongs to. Samuel has a daughter Cora, I wonder if that is the one, time will tell. There is no mention of a son named Levi. (JWW 26 Sep 16.)
