President Barack Obama was born August 4, 1961 in Honolulu Hawaii. President Obama is the only child from the marriage between Barack H. Sr. and Ann (Dunham) Obama. President Obama's parents were both attending University of Hawaii in Honolulu when they met.

In June 1989, Obama met Michelle Robinson when he was employed as a summer associate at the Chicago law firm of Sidley Austin. They began dating later that summer, became engaged in 1991, and were married on October 3, 1992.

President Obama served as the junior United States Senator from Illinois from January 2005 until he resigned after his election to the presidency in November 2008.

In the 2008 general election, he defeated Republican candidate John McCain and was inaugurated as president on January 20, 2009.

Thanks- they are connected as spouses, but it’s not visible since they are both living. Also, there’s no "override" feature for when both members of the couple are Notable. But you can click the Connections button (right now it says 411 Connections) and see her.
