William Odell was born about 1860 in New York State. He is the son of James Odell and Mary Christian, according to his death record. ^[1]

William married Ella Utter, 1883, in New York City. ^[2] They had eight children together: Ervin, Mary, Orla, Monroe, William, Florence, Gould and Clarence.

William died, November 13, 1932, in Spokane, Spokane County, Washington. ^[1] He is buried in Greenwood Memorial Terrace, Spokane, Spokane County, Washington. ^[3]
