Reginald Odell, possibly b. 1760/66, Frederick Co., Md.; d. 1805, Newberry Co., S. C.; m. his first cousin, Mary (Duckett) Williams, widow of Baruch Williams, and dau. of Jacob & Sarah (Odell) Duckett. She was prob. first m. C1772, and therefore must have been b. at least by C1757, if not before, and in Fred. Co., Md. She also d. 1805, in Newberry Co., S. C., but sometime after Reginald’s death.
Doliante subsequently explains that his name is frequently misspelled as Rignal or Regnal (Rignall was given here, and "Ringnail," which I've never seen, on another Wikitree profile), and explains why James and Martha Odell have been identified as his parents, and not John and Eleanor Odell, as had been given in some earlier genealogies.[1]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Reginald by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Reginald:
Odell-532 and Odell-456 appear to represent the same person because:
This is clearly the same person. Many different spellings of his given name appear in various records, depending on the spelling that seemed correct to the clerk making the record. I have never seen "Ringnail" before, though.
His wife was indeed Mary Duckett Williams Odell, but Duckett is her last name at birth. She was the widow of Baruch Williams at her marriage to Reginald (see Notes from Sharon Doliante's book on Odell-532).
