OGAICK, Gary James Foreign Affairs Retired Peacefully in hospital on Friday, December 19, 2003, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 63. Much loved husband of Farnaz (Zarghami), dear father of Dona (David Currie), Maurice and Tara. Predeceased by his parents Maurice and Irene of Deep River, Ontario, as well as brothers George and Stephen. Left to mourn are his sisters Lois Chartier of Aylmer, Barbara Hobbs of Ottawa, and brother Desmond of Dartmouth. Proud grandfather of Warren, Grant and Natasha. After a long career with Foreign Affairs, he continued working overseas making Saudi Arabia his home. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his family and many friends. A memorial service will be held in his honour at the First United Church, 397 Kent Street, Wednesday, January 7th, 2004 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choosing would be appreciated. The Ottawa Citizen, Area Code 613
