Biography

Elizabeth Ogden was born on 16 Apr 1848 and christened on 14 May 1848 in Hunters Hill, New South Wales, Australia [1], the daughter of Samuel Ogden and Maria Arndell Tunks and the sister of John Ogden, James Ogden, Esther (Ogden) Pierce, David Ogden, Alfred Augustus Ogden, Sarah Ogden, Samuel Edwin Ogden, Robert Cartwright Ogden and Maria Ogden

She married James Catt, a widower with three children, on 4 January 1869 in Carlingford, New South Wales, Australia [2] and they were the parents of Winifred Ann (Catt) Mobbs, David George Catt, Phoebe (Catt) Winning, Jane Catt, Martha Adelaide Catt, Jordan Edward Catt, Edith (Catt) Joyce and Spencer Ivan Catt.

Her husband James died on 24 January 1886 in Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia leaving her and his nine children, hopefully, well taken cared for [3][4].

Elizabeth died on 13 August 1928 at Gosford, New South Wales, Australia [5] [6][7][8].
