Married Robert I. Emmons (1914-2004)

Della "Isabelle" Emmons, 90, of Polk, passed away at 12:50 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at UPMC-Horizon in Greenville. Born April 15, 1923, in Utica, Della was the daughter of the late George G. Ohler (1895-1969) and Alice A. (Gadsby) Ohler (1896-1966).
She retired from Polk Center where she worked over 35 years, many as a supervisor. She enjoyed reading, keeping up with the news, and making pies.
She was married to Robert I. Emmons Sr. (1914-2004), who preceded her in death. She is survived by brother, Floyd "Lawrence" Ohler and wife Faye of Polk; niece, Mary Ohler of Polk; and nephews, David Gibbons and wife Melody of Cochranton and John Ohler of Polk. She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Lou (Ohler) Gibbons (1933-1990).
Interment will be in Luther Chapel Cemetery.
