I John Old of Albemarle County and State of Virginia do hereby make my last will and testament in manner & form following that is to say, I desire that all my just debt be paid and that if any estate......that one equal undivided half of a tract of land called......be sold by my executors to pay a debt due William Watson and the remainder of my estate which has not been already deeded be equally divided between my two sons, Thomas Jefferson Old and George Washington Old. It is my will and desire that my wife Elizabeth Old enjoy the ......of my part of my estate as long as she lives and after her death to return to my two sons........I do hereby....& appoint my beloved wife Elizabeth Old executor and Christopher Wingfield and Frances Wingfield my executors to this my last will and testament. .......set my had and affix my seal the 27th day of May 1809. I think this will may be related to John's son, John Old, Jr. He had two sons, Thomas and George. John Old, Sr. did not.

Additionally, John Sr's wife died in 1797.

The dates just may reflect a son making a will near the same time of his fathers death. John Jr. died 3 years later.
