Biography
Alfred Henry Oldershaw was born about 1862, supposedly in Wellington City in New Zealand. It seems unlikely, though, that he was born in New Zealand as the Department of Internal Affairs, the official Registrar of all New Zealand Births, Deaths and Marriages, appears to have no registration of his birth.
He married Janet Pollock in 1888, somewhere in New Zealand. [1]
On 10th December 1933 Alfred died in Nelson, New Zealand at the age of 71. [2] He was buried in the Old Presbyterian area of Wakapuaka Cemetery in Nelson on 12th December 1933. [3]
