Edward Phillip Oldham was born in 1886 in Combrook, Warwickshire, England to Edward Fines Oldham and Rebecca (Hughes) Oldham. His birth was registered in Stratford on Avon in the second quarter of the year.[1]
In 1891 Edward P Oldham (age 5, Scholar) lived in Combrook with his father Edward F (26, Carpenter), mother Rebecca (23), two siblings: Gertrude A (3) and Rhoda E (1), his aunt Mary A (18, Teacher in National School), and farm servant George Golby (13).[2]
In 1901 Edward P Oldham (age 15) lived in Combrook with his father Edward F (36, Carpenter), mother Rebecca (34), seven siblings: Rhoda E (11), Adeline M (9), Ellen L (5), Walter E (4), Frederick J (3), Violet E (1), and an unnamed infant brother (0), as well as visitor Alice Scarsbrook (26, sick nurse).[3]
In 1911 Edward Philip Oldham (age 25, Estate Carpenter) lived in Combrook with his father Edward Fines (45, Wheelwright), mother Rebecca (42) and five siblings: Walter Edwin (14, Gardner Domestic), Frederick James (13, Odd Worker), Violet Evelyn (11, at School), Albert Edward (10, at School), and Ernest Fines (8).[4]
Edward P Oldham married Charlotte Shirley in 1911.[5]
Edward P Oldham passed away in 1954, aged 68 years.[6]
