In 1735, his grandfather, Josiah Oldham was appointed his guardian after his father had died.[1]
In 1738, after his grandfather died, Mr. Samuel Tilden Jr. of Marshfield was appointed to be his guardian.[2]
In 1744, above the age of 14 years, Thomas made the choice of Samuel Tilden of Marshfield to be his guardian.[3]
On 23 May 1751, his guardian, Samuel Tilden presented an account of his guardianship. Thomas Oldham signed to discharge his guardian.[4]
Thomas Oldham and Jane Rogers were married on 10 Dec 1752 in Marshfield, Massachusetts. [5]
He passed away after 1787.

Betsey, b. ca 1758; d. 10 Aug 1834 in 76th yr, a widow at Lynn; m. Ebenezer Wing Jr. 04 Apr 1776 at Hanover, son of Ebenezer & Mary (Stoddard) Wing. Possibly same child as Jane, above, of whom there was no further record, and Betsey was absent in the 1768 Hanover warning out. Ebenezer Wing from Hanover, and wife Betty were warned from Marshfield 1777. Some VRs in Lynn for the family of son Seneca Wing may account for Betsey's presence there. Ch. b. Hanover: 1. [child], d. 28 Apr 1778. 2. Phila. 3. Delphia, m. Amos Jillson. 4. Betsey. 5. Martha. 6. Seneca. 7. John, b. 01 Nov 1779; d. at sea.[7]

Desire, b. ca. 1764; d. 08 Apr 1838 Scituate age 73; m. (1) Ephraim Palmer 15 Jul 1779 Hanover, (2) Jonathan or Benjamin Pratt 10 Jan 1798.
Eunice, b. ca. 1765; d. 24 Nov 1828 ae 63y Hanover; m. Joseph Neal Bates 20 Mar 1783 Scituate, but int. Hanover.
Thomas, b. ca. 1765; d. 02 Nov 1775 in his 11th yr; bur. Norwell Church Hill Cemetery
