Joseph was a blacksmith, the occupation given in his will. The work he did included iron work for s ship built in Philadelphia. He was paid £110 4s 4 1/2d for work done on the Torrinigton in 1728-29. [2]
Joseph made his will on 2 May 1755 in Philadelphia. [3] Records for Philadelphia Monthly Meeting record that he was deceased 20 July, 1755. [4]
