He married Maggie Ferguson in Charlotteville, Norfolk: "Courtland C Olds (45) farmer, son of George and Mary Olds, married Maggie Ferguson (25) of Lynedoch, daughter of James and Margaret Ferguson 26 Dec 1889" [1], by whom he had 3 children.
