Biography
Edith Ellen Oliphant was born in Bermondsey, England in October, 1843. Her parents were William Oliphant & Cordelia Bristow Gay.
She came with her family to Australia.
On the 28th June, 1877, in Adelaide, she married Charles McGregor Dawson.
They had 3 children:
- Harold Bristow Dawson (1878-1950)
- Alice Cordelia Dawson (1880-1964)
- Trio Oliphant Dawson (1887-1887)
Edith passed away on the 15th August, 1920, in Adelaide, Australia.
