Pierre William was born in Saint-Barthélemy on October 31, 1887. He is the son of Joseph Olive and Elisabeth Greaux[1].

Pierre William's parents immigrated to the US Virgin Islands with him and his siblings in 1888.

Pierre William married Marie Catherine Greaux in Saint Thomas Danish West Indies on January 26, 1909[2].
