Buried in Ewes Churchyard with wife Christian - inscription on stone - "In memory of CHRISTIAN HYSLOP wife of Christopher Oliver who died at Swingle 24th August 1885 aged 41 years. Also the above CHRISTOPHER OLIVER, Shepherd, who died at Swingle 17th October 1908 aged 65 years" However these inscription are post 1950 - source The Ewes Valley by Brenda I Morrison and R. Bruce McCartney.
