Biography
Maria Oliver was born 6 December 1825.[1] She was a daughter of John J. Oliver and his wife Margaret.
The 1850 U.S. Census recorded Maria Oliver, age 24(?), in the household of John J. Oliver and his wife Margaret in Watervliet, Albany County, New York. [2]
She was married to Gulian Lansing in 1850. She accompanied him in Syria and Egypt, where he was a missionary.
Maria Lansing died 5 July 1865 and is buried in the American Cemetery in Cairo, Egypt.[3]
