Biography
Thomas Ollerenshaw was born in Derbyshire, England.
Thomas was born in 1863. He was the son of Septimus O Ollerenshaw and Elisabeth Barber, and his birth was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1863 in the Bakewell district.[1] He was baptised on 24 April 1864 in Eyam, Derbyshire, England. His date of birth was given as 19 November 1863. The family were living at Hathersage and his father was a Farmer. [2]
1871 census : Thomas 7, was the son of Septemus Ollerenshaw 35, Agricultural Labourer, in Owlerton, Nether Hallam, Yorkshire. His mother Elizabeth was 29, and he had three siblings Clara 8, Charles 5 and Robert 3. Also in the household, his mother's brother Thomas Barber 21, Porter. [3]
1881 census: (Thomas) Abraham (age 16) was the unmarried servant of John Wragg on Sleigh Leigh Lane, Upper Hallam, Yorkshire, Yorkshire West Riding, England.[4]
1891 census: Apple Street, Binns Farm, Hattersley, Cheshire. Thomas (age 26) was the single servant of Amos Booth. Also in the household was Eleanor Gledhill 18, single, 2nd cousin of Amos Booth [5]
Marriage: Thomas's marriage to Eleanor Gledhill was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1896 in the Ashton Under Lyne district.[6]

1939 register:169 Farm & House, Limehurst, Lancashire. Thomas 76, Retired Farmer, wife Eleanor 67, Unpaid Domestic Duties, and daughter Eleanor 34, Dairymaid. [9]
Thomas's death (age 76) was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1940 in the Ashton district.[10]
Research Note 1939 register gives date of birth as 19 March 1863, however his birth was registerd in the last quarter of 1863, so birth is uncertain.
