Hi Roger,

I saw your recent post on G2G and wanted to invite you to join in our "Weekend Chat".

It's a popular weekly G2G post where many the members visit and share in a variety of topics. New people say "Hi" and introduce themselves, Leaders and Mentors give tips and answer questions, and regulars share updates on their latest projects and victories... anything they wish to chat about. I most enjoy stories of famous or nefarious ancestors.

We'd love to hear form you, stop in when you're able!

Hi Roger, and welcome to WikiTree! You mention ancestors in Scotland and Ireland. I wanted to let you know we have two great projects that focus on Scottish Clans and Irish Roots here called Scottish Clans Project and Irish Roots Project They might be places for you to get involved once you have settled into WikiTree. Lots of hints, links etc for researching on pages of both projects.

You may find some of your ancestors are already on WikiTree and the people in both Projects will be happy to help you in any way they can. Thank you so much for joining WikiTree.

Good luck with your research.

I have made an excellent start on the Olmstead family in North America back to its origin in England. Now I would like to explore the other grandparents who came from Scotland and Belfast and Wales and.... you get the picture! If I am able to contribute to the quests of others in doing so, all the better.
