Carl was born in 1609, the son of Olaus Andreas Dalecarlus and Margareta Rasmusdotter.[1] We find him as sheriff (länsman) in Rättvik in the 1670s.[2] Carl Olofsson was married to Sigrid Hansdotter, who was daughter of the previous sheriff in Rättvik. They had at least six children:
Carl Olofsson passed away in 1679 and was buried Dnica Trinitatis (June 15).[3]
