Biography

Peggy's sister Laureinne was dating someone from Castle Heights Military Acadamy. They had a social dance coming uo and Laureine's date asked her if she could find someone to set a friend of his up with for the dance. Laureine promised she would, and had a friend that claimed she was willing to go. Laureinne's friend bailed on her at the last minute. Laureinne had promised to bring someone for the friend of the guy she was going to see and in a panic, turned to her 13 yr old sister, helped her dress up, and instructed her to "act 15, you are 15 tonight". She then took Peggy to the dance in place of her friend to be the date for her dates friend. That "friend" was a 15 yr old Jimmy Dunn., a student at Castle Heights Military Acadamy. A few years later Jimmy Dunn wrote to Peggy while stationed in the Pacific and they started a correspondence that led to them getting married on April 14th, 1945 - (As told by Peggy Dunn to me) Marguerite was born in 1924. Marguerite Olofsson ... She passed away in 2014.^[1]
