Biography

Hanna Gabriella (Olsdatter) Larson was born on 8 September 1872 in Syvde herred, Romsdalen amt (present day Vanylven kommune, Vestland flyke) in the traditional Sunnmøre district of Norway, [1] daughter of Ole Mortensen (1811 - 1877) and Brite Adamsdatter (1828 - 1918).

Her siblings were:

  2. Vendel Marie Olsdatter (1857 - 1936)
  3. Anne Helene Olsdatter (1857 - 1942)
  4. Sophie Helena (Olsdatter) Strand (1859 - 1917)
  5. Adam Olai Olson (1862 - 1939)
  6. Ole Martinius (Olson) Sordal (1867 - 1950)
  7. Ane Birte Marie (Olsdatter) Strand (1870 - 1898)

Hanna Gabriella married Nils Larson (1869 - 1939) on 2 July 1898 in Kongsvinger Lutheran Church, Stevens County, Minnesota. [2] Their children were:

  1. Amanda Berthina Larson (1899 - 1906)
  2. Louis Olai Larson (1902 - 1971)
  3. Anton Elias Larson (1905 - 1993)
  4. Amanda Berthina Larson (1909 - 2004)
  5. Henry Norman Larson (1915 - 1981).

Hanna died on 23 August 1933 in Donnelly Township aged 60. [3][4] She is buried in Kongsvinger Lutheran Church Cemetery. [5][6]
