Greta was born in 1832. She was the daughter of Olof Larsson and Stina Ågren. Greta left home in 1847. She worked in various households in the area before marrying in 1854. Greta and her husband were crofters in Knisselbo, Hanebo parish. They had two daughters. She was widowed in 1885 when her husband passed away from pneumonia. From 1889, Greta lived with the family of her daughter Greta Matilda.
Research Notes
In household records 1851-1852, her last name is written as Olsdotter Sjöblom. Sjöblom was the last name of her niece Margta (b 1835), and this is the only instance of Greta being listed with it.
