Karin Olsdotter was born in July 1733. Her father was Olof Andersson in Tryckarsbo (should be Brattfors), Västra Skedvi parish.[1] Her mother was Anna Johansdotter.[2]
Karin died as a crofter's wife in Laggsta, Västra Skedvi in 1789.[3] According to her obituary she was married for the first time in 1762, in Kolsva (Bro parish - where the ministerial books were lost in a fire in 1772). Her first husband was Lars Kollberg.[4] They had one son, Carl who survives, and one stillborn son, before Kollberg died in January 1767.
Karin married again, with crofter Anders Andersson in Laggsta.[5] In this marriage she had two daughters and one son, all surviving their mother. Karin was bedridden for the last year of her life and died of consumption.[3]
