Biography
Amund Olsen was born at Rolstad-lien, Sør-Fron 7 Aug and christened 25 Sep as illegitimate son of Ole Hansen from Prestegards-løkken and Kari Amundsdatter[1]
The parents never married each other.
Amund was raised by Kari and her spouse Amund Pedersen. He married Clara Mathiasdatter Daffinrud[2].

Obituary
AMUND OLSON
COON VALLEY, Wis. (Special) --Amund Olson, 88, died Saturday at Alma, Wis., at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Michael Varoneck.
Olson is survived by one other daughter, Mrs. G. (Olga) Wickman, Ellison Bay, Wis.; one son, Palmer, Coon Valley; and seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1949, a daughter, Mrs. Magdalene Klencke, spring of 1952, and a grandson Raymond, who died in a plane crash while training in the Air Force in 1945.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Upper Coon Valley Lutheran Church, the Rev. L. L. Masted officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.[4]
