... Mads Olsen (f. 1764, d. 1837) fra Erikstad i Kasfjord ... var g.m. Maren Kristine Bertelsdtr. (f. 1771) fra Erikstad; barn : Ane Margrethe f. 1796, Bertel f. 1797, Malene Johanna f. 1803 og Martha Marie f. 1805. Mads drev bruken til sin død, og fikk kongeskjøte 13/6 1837 for 50 spd. Hans sønn og svigersønn overtok halvparten hver av eiendommen, men brukte den i fellesskap en årekke fremover (skyldd. 1/10 1870, br.nr. 6 og 10).
