Thore Olsen was born on 29 Sep 1845 at Bottemsløkken (also called Bottemslykkja under Bottem) in Lesja, Oppland, Norway, son of Ole Johannessen (1812 - 1873) and Anne Thoresdatter (1818 - 1867).[1]
