Biography

Dagmar was born in 1866 to George and Emilie (Miller) Olsen in Chicago, Illinois. She died on 6 Feb 1951, also in Chicago.[1][2]

She married Carl Eugene Faye on 9 Jan 1887.[3]

  1. Leslie Eugene Faye, 5 Jun 1889-13 Nov 1896[4]
  2. Thomas Stang Faye, 12 Oct 1894-12 Sep 1896 [5][6]
  3. George Eugene Faye (11 Feb 1899-29 Mar 1853)[7][8]

In the 1910 census.[9], Dagmar is living with her husband, son George who is 11 years of age, and a boarder at 104 Perry St, Chicago, Illinois. It is acknowledged that the couple had been married for 22 years to that point, consistent with earlier information, and that they had had three children, only one of whom was then living. Carl was in business for himself, selling fire insurance.

In the 1920 census,[10] the family, still consisting of Dagmar, Carl, and George, is living at 1437 Bertram Ave in Chicago. Carl is now working for Gary Illinois a large steel mill.

By the 1930 census, Dagmar had become a widow, and she lived alone, apparently in an apartment at 1525 Cullom Ave.

Death, 1951[11]
